I recently stayed for four nights at a charming hotel to explore some nearby museums and galleries. The room was spacious and meticulously clean, with a lovely sofa couch that added unexpected comfort. I appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine and the mini refrigerator for convenience. The staff was genuinely friendly, and the peaceful atmosphere made my visit enjoyable. Dining at the on-site Chifley Restaurant was a highlight, with tasty meals for both dinner and breakfast.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed the breakfast and restaurant where they served it. Had a coffeemaker, a lounge, and a writing desk in my classic queen room. The location offered was perfect and exceptionally nice close enough to Canberra's sights, many attractions, restaurants and coffee shops and National Gallery and Lake.

We had a good stay at the kurrajong, thoroughly enjoying the historical ambiance mixed with comfort. our room was quite impressive, featuring sturdy built-in wardrobes and interesting historical decor. the bed was comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. also, the garden bar provided a lovely spot to unwind, and being just a short walk from old parliament house and lake burley griffin was an added bonus. the staff were welcoming and helpful, enhancing our overall experience.
All good, but room size and some amenities could improve! 😊.

I really enjoyed the cozy vibe of the room with a charming 20s feel and was spacious enough for a relaxing stay. The location was excellent, close to attractions, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help.
Food for breakfast could use more vegetarian and vegan options.

The room was updated and spotless and had a good view on to an internal garden. Location: the hotel was close enough to the major art galleries as well as the Kurrajong. The breakfast was free and delicious, the check in was efficient...

I had a fantastic weekend at this hotel! The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful gardens to enjoy a drink outside. My room was super spacious with a comfy king bed and a powerful shower! Plus, I loved having a coffee machine right in my room - perfect for those lazy mornings. The staff were friendly and super helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable! Though, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives!
On the downside, I did run into a couple of issues. The cleaners seemed to miss restocking a few basics, which was a bit annoying. I was surprised by the parking fee; I didn’t expect to pay extra for that.

This place has a charming vibe with its classy 1920s decor, making our stay feel special. The location is fantastic-so close to public transport and within walking distance to top attractions, plus the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
The breakfast option could use a bit more variety in the menu to make it more exciting.
